As part of my studies at the Interactive Design Institute and the University of Hertfordshire I had done a project on creating a series of promotional posters for a 'Heroes and Heroines' campaign.
The brief was to chose those I could identify as Heroes and Heroines and then create a series of posters for public attention to the subject.
My choice of Heroes and Heroes was the labourers who have played a critical role in building the beautiful United Arab Emirates to what it is at the moment. My posters focused on playful use of text and general wordplay to deliver the messages to the public. The idea was to recreate famous landmark of the country from text. Below are the final outcomes as well as some of the options for their application in the real environment.
